Today, DVD Verdict posted reviews of THE AVENGERS: THE COMPLETE EMMA
PEEL MEGASET (COLLECTOR'S EDITION), DEATH TUNNEL, DOG DAY AFTERNOON:
SPECIAL EDITION, KIND HEARTS AND CORONETS: CRITERION COLLECTION, THE
LORDS OF DISCIPLINE, THE MURDER OF JFK: A REVISIONIST HISTORY, SCUM,
TELEVISION FAVORITES: THE DREW CAREY SHOW, WHERE THE TRUTH LIES, and
    YOURS, MINE AND OURS (2005):

THE AVENGERS: THE COMPLETE EMMA PEEL MEGASET (COLLECTOR'S EDITION)
(reviewed by Rob Lineberger, overall score 91/100):
"From fancy cars and haute couture to its steady stream of libations,
The Avengers is saturated with '60s style of the highest caliber. Both
Steed and Peel are impeccably dressed, from his bowler and jacket to her
catsuits and mod dresses. The show misses no opportunity to vogue -- or
    even to fetishize Mrs. Peel."

DEATH TUNNEL (reviewed by Mitchell Hattaway, overall score 45/100):
"Visually this movie looks like a music video directed by a crystal meth
    addict who has recently developed a love for Maxwell House coffee;
between the shaky camerawork, the machinegun editing, and the fact that
most of the scenes appear to have been lit with strobe lights, it's
enough to make your brain start oozing out through you eye sockets."

DOG DAY AFTERNOON: SPECIAL EDITION (reviewed by David Ryan, overall
    score 98/100):
"Pacino hasn't really been the same since John Cazale's death; sometime
around Cruising or Scarface, I think he stopped being a frighteningly
talented actor, and started just being Al Pacino. Today, with very rare
    exceptions, he's almost a self-caricature."

KIND HEARTS AND CORONETS: CRITERION COLLECTION (reviewed by Steve Evans,
    overall score 94/100):
"Kind Hearts and Coronets is really an acutely observed take on class
warfare and human deceit filtered through the perspective of martini-dry
    British humor."

THE LORDS OF DISCIPLINE (reviewed by Ryan Keefer, overall score 80/100):
"It is impressive to watch some of the precision and scale that are
employed in some of the scenes by the cadets. And as one who
participated in similar ceremonies and processions, I can tell you they
are very cool. But the scenes that show cadets in an open courtyard
start to wear on the viewer after a while."

THE MURDER OF JFK: A REVISIONIST HISTORY (reviewed by George Hatch,
    overall score 90/100):
"The Murder of JFK: A Revisionist History is an excellent primer or
refresher course for conspiracy buffs, but it's top-heavy in its
'revisionist' approach. It spends an entire hour putting the future
President Kennedy and his ultimate assassination in the context of the
pre-existing U.S. political and cultural climate and the global context
    of the Cold War. "

SCUM (reviewed by Adam Arseneau, overall score 83/100):
"At the time of its release, Scum turned quite a few heads, but its
timing was rather unfortunate. When the BBC version was made, the
Borstal system was still alive and well in Great Britain, but by the
time the feature film reached the market, the system was in the process
    of being dismantled."

TELEVISION FAVORITES: THE DREW CAREY SHOW (reviewed by Eric Profancik,
    overall score 80/100):
"While twenty million shows are set in New York, Chicago, or Washington
D.C., it was nice to see Cleveland as the backdrop for this one. It was
fun to see the little references that only a native could understand,
and it was a great boost for the city."

WHERE THE TRUTH LIES (reviewed by Brendan Babish, overall score 74/100):
"There are far too many contrived moments here, where the characters are
clearly acting to advance a plot instead of their own best interests.
After the film ends and you have time to reflect, these plot weaknesses
    only multiply."

YOURS, MINE AND OURS (2005) (reviewed by Joel Pearce, overall
    score 40/100):
"As a film with one foot in the '50s and the other in a can of bright
blue paint, it is an unqualified failure."
