Today, DVD Verdict posted reviews of BLUE MURDER, ED SULLIVAN: ROCK 'N'
ROLL CLASSICS, IN LIVING COLOR: SEASON FOUR, THE JUDY GARLAND SHOW
FEATURING PEGGY LEE AND ETHEL MERMAN, MARTHA'S HOLIDAYS 2005, ONE TREE
HILL: THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON, SURVIVOR: PEARL ISLANDS, TEENAGE
MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: VOLUME 3, THE TIME TUNNEL: VOLUME ONE, and
ZATOICHI: THE TELEVISION SERIES (VOLUME ONE):

BLUE MURDER (reviewed by Neal Solon, overall score 69/100):
"I really wanted to like Blue Murder. I just couldn't. It's too frantic.
It's not compelling enough, and it's largely incomprehensible."

ED SULLIVAN: ROCK 'N' ROLL CLASSICS (reviewed by Steve Evans, overall
    score 85/100):
"The real appeal of the show, the feature that kept audiences coming
back every Sunday night, was the spotlight on a hot music group. In his
selections, Sullivan had no equal. Despite a personality and demeanor
that practically shouted 'square,' (to use the vernacular of his era),
Sullivan booked the hippest musicians and gave their careers a lift
while watching his own ratings blast into orbit."

IN LIVING COLOR: SEASON FOUR (reviewed by Aaron Bossig, overall
    score 85/100):
"In Living Color: Season 4 does hold quite a few laughs, but it's best
enjoyed by folks who remember when O.J. Simpson was a role model."

THE JUDY GARLAND SHOW FEATURING PEGGY LEE AND ETHEL MERMAN (reviewed by
    Jonathan Weiss, overall score 75/100):
"If there's one thing you learn about Judy after watching The Judy
Garland Show it's just how wonderful a host she was. Instead of trying
to steal scenes from her guests she gives them the room and freedom to
showcase the best of their abilities."

MARTHA'S HOLIDAYS 2005 (reviewed by Ian Visser, overall score 80/100):
"Fans love her, detractors don't, and that's about as clear-cut
    as it gets."

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/marthasholidays2005.php

ONE TREE HILL: THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON (reviewed by Neal Solon,
    overall score 80/100):
"With Lucas and Nathan's brotherly relationship on sure footing, One
Tree Hill has been forced to resort to more teenage melodrama. It's a
regrettable development, but the results aren't all bad."

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/onetreehillseason2.php

SURVIVOR: PEARL ISLANDS (reviewed by Eric Profancik, overall
    score 88/100):
"Every season is the same, yet every season is also different. Players
believe they know exactly how the game will unfold, but they invariably
find themselves surprised by the little twists the game's masterminds
have dreamt up. Nothing more dramatic has happened than the shock that
transpired during this season: the infamous Outcast Tribe."

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/survivor7.php

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: VOLUME 3 (reviewed by Jennifer Malkowski,
    overall score 55/100):
"The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ranks up there with Aqua Teen Hunger
Force and The Teletubbies in the hallowed halls of stories that were
undoubtedly helped into this world by hallucinogenic drugs."

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/ninjaturtlesvol3.php

THE TIME TUNNEL: VOLUME ONE (reviewed by Cynthia Boris, overall
    score 85/100):
"I am a 100%, dyed-in-the-wool, 'can't shake my faith no matter how bad
the special effects are' fan of Irwin Allen. And if you read that name
just now and went, 'who?,' I'll slap you! Irwin Allen was the king, the
precursor, the groundbreaker of science fiction on television."

ZATOICHI: THE TELEVISION SERIES (VOLUME ONE) (reviewed by Dan Mancini,
    overall score 80/100):
"The real reason for the character's amazing appeal, though, is Shintaro
    Katsu. The moon-faced comedian/singer/action-star/director/producer
brought a magnetic humanity to the role. Ichi may reside at the rock
bottom of feudal Japan's caste system, but he has a disarming self-
deprecating sense of humor, emotional vulnerability, and quiet humility
that doesn't get in the way of his penchant for bawdy fun when the
    opportunity presents itself."
