Today, DVD Verdict posted reviews of THE BETTE DAVIS COLLECTION, THE
DAMNED DON'T CRY, DARBY O'GILL AND THE LITTLE PEOPLE, DIRTY MARY CRAZY
LARRY: SUPERCHARGER EDITION, PETER GABRIEL: PLAY: THE VIDEOS, and
    VEGGIETALES: MINNESOTA CUKE:

THE BETTE DAVIS COLLECTION (reviewed by Amanda DeWees, overall
    score 91/100):
"Although viewers may be surprised at the absence from this set of two
of Davis's most famous films -- All About Eve and Jezebel -- the five
titles selected definitely show this distinctive actress working at the
peak of her abilities. It's no accident that Davis was nominated for an
Oscar for her work in all five of them."

THE DAMNED DON'T CRY (reviewed by Amanda DeWees, overall score 84/100):
"Unlike movies of just ten years before, the film doesn't show us that
she's sinned in placing other priorities over love. She doesn't have to
repent or die for being ambitious or 'unwomanly.' The final word of the
film is that she did what any of us would have done: she tried to escape
    a rotten situation."

DARBY O'GILL AND THE LITTLE PEOPLE (reviewed by Steve Evans, overall
    score 93/100):
"One of the great Disney live-action films, Darby O'Gill and the
Little People still shimmers with the quality and loving care that
went into its production. Shot on location in Ireland, with interiors
and special effects produced stateside, the film is utterly charming
    without being cloying."

DIRTY MARY CRAZY LARRY: SUPERCHARGER EDITION (reviewed by Mac McEntire,
    overall score 86/100):
"The 'car chase' movies of the 1970s would appear to be a limited genre.
After all, how many different plots can be built around cool cars
smashing into each other? Many of these films, though, carry underneath
them themes of freedom and rebellion."

PETER GABRIEL: PLAY: THE VIDEOS (reviewed by Brett Cullum, overall
    score 97/100):
"If you're at all a fan of music, Peter Gabriel -- Play: The Videos is
the DVD to put front and center in your collection. Not only do you get
a retrospective of an artist who revolutionized the way videos were made
and who cranked out some great songs, but you get a DVD that illustrates
what 'state of the art' means."

VEGGIETALES: MINNESOTA CUKE (reviewed by David Johnson, overall
    score 90/100):
"Veggie Tales is pretty much the premium for Bible-centric family
entertainment. Minnesota Cuke continues the tradition; it's witty, a joy
to look at, drenched in all kinds of positive messages, and, most
important of all, fun. And with the amount of extra stuff on board,
you'll get a lot of bang for your buck with this disc."

Finally my number one all time favorite "White Trash" movie is coming
    out on DVD!

Man that Susan George was just perfect for the Dirty Mary role as her
screen presence just screams SKANK everytime I see her in that movie.

Now all I need is for "Race With the Devil" and "Bobbie Jo & The
Outlaw" to come out and my "White Trash"DVD collection will finally be
    complete!
