Today, DVD Verdict posted reviews of ABC NEWS PRESENTS: THE SEARCH FOR
PAUL, THE ADVENTURES OF THE GALAXY RANGERS: SUPERTROOPERS, BLUE'S CLUES:
ABC'S, 123'S, AND MORE, CHEERS: THE COMPLETE FOURTH SEASON, QUANTUM
LEAP: THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON, SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS: SPONGE FOR
HIRE, STARGATE SG-1: SEASON SEVEN, THAT'S SO RAVEN: SUPERNATURALLY
STYLISH, and WILLIE NELSON AND FRIENDS: OUTLAWS AND ANGELS:

ABC NEWS PRESENTS: THE SEARCH FOR PAUL (reviewed by David Johnson,
    overall score 80/100):
"What did bug me was the tendency towards hyperbole of some of the
scholars. In some instances, these guys paraphrase stories from
scripture with overly dramatic panache. For example, the subject of
Paul's tenuous dinner date with Peter in Antioch comes up, and one guy
launches into an off-Broadway production of his exegesis. It's hard to
    take him seriously."

THE ADVENTURES OF THE GALAXY RANGERS: SUPERTROOPERS (reviewed by Maurice
    Cobbs, overall score 87/100):
"The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers is a gem of animation. The
strong stories, great characterizations, and creative plots still
hold up today, even in the wake of some of the excellent series of
    the last decade."

BLUE'S CLUES: ABC'S, 123'S, AND MORE (reviewed by David Packard, overall
    score 89/100):
"Warning to parents: the highly-infectious 'Scrub' song is included in
this episode. I dare you not to hum this sucker well after this one
ends. Kids, however, will love it."

CHEERS: THE COMPLETE FOURTH SEASON (reviewed by Adam Arseneau, overall
    score 90/100):
"The true brilliance of the show is how you can literally tune into any
episode, from any season, and immediately fall into place like the
comfortable grooves of a well-worn couch, posterior perfectly preserved,
    forever waiting for your return."

QUANTUM LEAP: THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON (reviewed by Sandra Dozier,
    overall score 90/100):
"As many sci-fi shows have done, Quantum Leap often confronted
situations considered too unpleasant to discuss in the everyday world.
Racism, sexism, discrimination against the mentally handicapped, and the
morality of crime are all portrayed this season."

SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS: SPONGE FOR HIRE (reviewed by David Packard,
    overall score 82/100):
"I don't understand the combination of alcohol and medication that
series creator Stephen Hillenburg must have ingested in coming up
with such a wild menagerie of characters and settings, but trust me
    -- it works."

STARGATE SG-1: SEASON SEVEN (reviewed by David Gutierrez, overall
    score 92/100):
"The original source material was far inferior to the twenty-plus hours
of Richard Dean Anderson and company I'd just plowed through. It felt so
uninspired and empty by comparison. It's the difference between being
with the one you love and loving the one you're with."

THAT'S SO RAVEN: SUPERNATURALLY STYLISH (reviewed by Joel Pearce,
    overall score 68/100):
"Although the first two episodes are just mildly obnoxious, the last two
are significantly worse. 'Boyz 'N Commotion' is so horribly conceived
and executed that I feel terrible for fans of the show that pick up this
DVD just for the chance to see something new."

WILLIE NELSON AND FRIENDS: OUTLAWS AND ANGELS (reviewed by Lacey
    Worrell, overall score 90/100):
"Britney Spears fans, be warned: You won't find any scantily clad
backup dancers or special effects, only music played by people who play
    it very well."
