Today, DVD Verdict posted reviews of ANDROMEDA: SEASON FOUR, COLLECTION
THREE, BUCK ROGERS IN THE 25TH CENTURY: THE COMPLETE EPIC SERIES,
ENTOURAGE: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON, FRIENDS: THE COMPLETE NINTH
SEASON, THE HARDY BOYS/NANCY DREW MYSTERIES: SEASON ONE, THE JAMIE FOXX
SHOW: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON, KNIGHT RIDER: SEASON TWO, THE
PRETENDER: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON, SEINFELD: SEASONS 1 AND 2, and
VIVA LA BAM: COMPLETE SEASONS TWO AND THREE:

ANDROMEDA: SEASON FOUR, COLLECTION THREE (reviewed by David Ryan,
    overall score 87/100):
"Bonus trivia note: Martin Cummins is the ex-husband of former Penthouse
Pet of the Year / Vince Neil sex toy Brandy Ledford, who plays Doyle in
Andromeda's fifth season. I admire him for having the courage to boldly
go where readily-available Internet evidence shows at least one skanky,
probably disease-ridden man has repeatedly gone before. But I
    digress..."

BUCK ROGERS IN THE 25TH CENTURY: THE COMPLETE EPIC SERIES (reviewed by
    Michael Stailey, overall score 70/100):
"How can a series so fondly recalled prove to be such a second rate
experience? It happens quite often with these older shows. Watching
entire seasons of 22 or more episodes back to back to back, the flaws
    become evident all too quickly."

ENTOURAGE: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON (reviewed by Patrick Bromley,
    overall score 91/100):
"It's one of the rare shows I've seen that understands the ways in which
guys interact and relate to one another (a bit like a boys' answer to
Sex and the City in that way), but avoids lapsing into misogyny or macho
stereotypes -- there's an appeal for men and women alike."

FRIENDS: THE COMPLETE NINTH SEASON (reviewed by Patrick Bromley, overall
    score 80/100):
"Look, we only have to put up with them for one more season and we'll
never have to hear that damn theme song again. Let's leave them to sit
in the corner and drink coffee all day."

THE HARDY BOYS/NANCY DREW MYSTERIES: SEASON ONE (reviewed by Paul
    Corupe, overall score 81/100):
"Although the Hardy Boys episodes managed to stay enough in the same
vein of the books to be considered a success, far more liberties taken
with the Nancy Drew episodes, much to the chagrin of fans, who responded
    by tuning out."

THE JAMIE FOXX SHOW: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON (reviewed by Brett
    Cullum, overall score 65/100):
"Jamie Foxx is a talented, funny guy. I loved him in Collateral, Ray,
and Any Given Sunday. I would buy any set of In Living Color. This show
just wasn't my bag. The Jamie Foxx Show -- The Complete First Season is
something only hardcore fans are going to want to purchase, or even see.
It seems like its release is simply a move to capitalize on Foxx's
    recent success."

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/jamiefoxxshowseason1.php

KNIGHT RIDER: SEASON TWO (reviewed by Rob Lineberger, overall
    score 77/100):
"I desperately want to tell you that Knight Rider inspires a surge of
nostalgic glee that allows me to overlook the show's flaws. Knight Rider
is as it always has been, a ridiculous romp of autoerotic fantasy. The
jokes have not deteriorated with time, the action has not grown
stale...it has always been like this. And by 'like this,' I mean
    exponentially bad."

THE PRETENDER: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON (reviewed by Brett Cullum,
    overall score 90/100):
"The X-Files did all of this government/corporation conspiracy better,
and The Fugitive obviously created the 'man on the run' scenario.
Jarod's ability to 'pretend' reminds me a lot of Quantum Leap without
the sci-fi trappings. Some people are going to cry foul that The
Pretender is merely a merging of those superior series. I can see their
point. But it does have enough smarts to know it is paying homage to
both shows, and is deft enough to admit it."

SEINFELD: SEASONS 1 AND 2 (reviewed by David Johnson, overall
    score 91/100):
"Strolling through channels, when I stumble upon an episode -- any
episode -- on any of the multiple syndication outlets I immediately
settle in for the half hour. It's just one of those shows that hits a
pitch-perfect note for me, scratches that itch, fits like a new suit,
and any other cliche you can drum up that means 'I like it a lot.'"

VIVA LA BAM: COMPLETE SEASONS TWO AND THREE (reviewed by Adam Arseneau,
    overall score 94/100):
"It's like a frat boy fantasy of debauchery, practical jokes, projectile
vomiting, fat boy jokes, guys beating the crap out of one another, and
the general terrorizing of anything, be it friends, family, animal, or
    vegetable."
