    and WARM SPRINGS:

THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW: THE COMPLETE THIRD SEASON (reviewed by Cynthia
    Boris, overall score 90/100):
"The Andy Griffith Show has a timeless innocence that just isn't seen
anywhere on television today. Its wholesome humor is as funny now as it
was then, and the down-home flavor (and accents) mark it as pure
    Americana."

THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW: THE COMPLETE FOURTH SEASON (reviewed by Patrick
    Naugle, overall score 81/100):
"It may seem cliched and even sentimental by today's standards, yet The
Andy Griffith Show truly was family entertainment that never pandered
to the audience, and always left with a smile on its (and the
    audience's) face."

CUBA MIA: PORTRAIT OF AN ALL-WOMAN ORCHESTRA (reviewed by Russell
    Engebretson, overall score 80/100):
"It's delightful to hear the Latin, Afro-Cuban, and Spanish pieces
(amazingly, all played from memory) performed by classically trained
    musicians."

INKED: BEST OF SEASON ONE (reviewed by Adam Arseneau, overall
    score 77/100):
"The few standout episodes that exist on this DVD, like 'Change of
Hart,' in which Corey Hart and John Huntington try to buy each other out
of the business, and 'Trouble in Paradise,' in which Thomas's artistic
ability begins to suffer from a broken heart, are exceptional because
they transcend the petty, arrogant, testosterone-filled punker attitude
    that permeates the show."

THE MAIGRET COLLECTION (reviewed by Mike Pinsky, overall score 85/100):
"Fans of British-style television mysteries, the sort that turn up on
PBS here in America, will enjoy watching Michael Gambon put Simenon's
great detective through his paces in The Maigret Collection. The
lackluster presentation of this DVD set will not draw in any new
    viewers, however."

NICK JR. FAVORITES VOLUME 3 (reviewed by David Johnson, overall
    score 85/100):
"These frickin' Backyardigans grow on me every time I watch one of their
    colorful, lively shows."

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/nickjrfavoritesvol3.php

NICK PICKS 3 (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 80/100):
"This is a large, varied sampling of what the network has to offer, but
I have to wonder: is there a market out there for people willing to buy
a DVD of cartoons they will most likely see rerun ad infinitum?"

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/nickpicks3.php

SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE: THE BEST OF DAVID SPADE (reviewed by David Johnson,
    overall score 85/100):
"Where are all the Hollywood Minutes?!?"

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/snlspade.php

SEINFELD: SEASON FIVE (reviewed by Jennifer Malkowski, overall
    score 92/100):
"This is the season of Seinfeld that, more than any other, marks the
transition between the conversational, minutia-oriented, writerly humor
of the show's early period and the less probable, more physical comedy
of the later episodes. It was a time when the series stopped being
'about nothing' -- though it still included plenty of 'nothing' moments
-- and really embraced its zanier side. Thanks to the talent of the
cast, Larry David, and the many other creative forces behind the scenes,
the transition was smooth. More importantly, almost every moment of it
    was funny."

SEINFELD: SEASON SIX (reviewed by Patrick Bromley, overall score
    94/100):
"It's difficult to find anything new to say about Seinfeld. Everyone
knows it. Everyone quotes it (which reminds me -- the next person that
thinks it's hilarious to say 'No soup for you!' is going to find him or
    herself on the business end of a window-throwing). It's a show that's
grown far beyond the art form, exploding from the confines of the
television set and becoming a cultural phenomenon. Well, I don't review
cultural phenomena. I can't, other than to say 'it deserves to be' or
'it doesn't deserve to be.' That leaves me to review the show on its
merits, which, lucky for me, are considerable."

THE SUPER MARIO BROS. SUPER SHOW! (reviewed by Paul Corupe, overall
    score 78/100):
"It's totally ridiculous, but strangely compelling, and though the broad
jokes may not be able to worm their way to your inner gamepad-clutching
10-year-old, it's all in good fun, and the actors seem to be having a
great time bringing their 2-D characters to life. "

WARM SPRINGS (reviewed by Dan Mancini, overall score 90/100):
"Warm Springs is the rarest of beasts: an excellent biopic."
