Today, DVD Verdict posted reviews of COLORS STRAIGHT UP, DICE:
ADVENTURES IN SPACE (VOLUME 1), DOGS FOR DUMMIES, DRAGON BALL Z: VEGETA
SAGA 1: INTO THE WILD, GHOSTS OF RWANDA, KOI KAZE: BUDDING ATTRACTION,
PIANO: MOVEMENT 1: SECRET LOVE, PLANETES (VOLUME 1), and SHINGU: SECRET
OF THE STELLAR WARS (VOLUME 1):

COLORS STRAIGHT UP (reviewed by Joel Pearce, overall score 88/100):
"They have serious dance training. They do martial arts. They do push
ups. In training for the performance, each student must learn the self
discipline to keep their own life on track while preparing their minds
    and bodies for the show."

DICE: ADVENTURES IN SPACE (VOLUME 1) (reviewed by Brett Cullum, overall
    score 82/100):
"DICE seems to bridge two worlds and two cultures. It's the 'gateway
drug' that should lead more kids to be fans of anime."

DOGS FOR DUMMIES (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 88/100):
"Dogs for Dummies is a nice little resource for the first-time dog
owner. Advice is practical, if sometimes obvious, and the tips are
helpful. Don't expect an advanced treatise on the intricacies of dog
ownership and training, however; we're talking Cliffs Note here...or is
    it Clifford's Notes?"

DRAGON BALL Z: VEGETA SAGA 1: INTO THE WILD (reviewed by Brett Cullum,
    overall score 88/100):
"If you're a newbie, definitely begin with the first volume of stories,
since Dragon Ball Z: Vegeta Saga 1 -- Into the Wild starts at a
midpoint. This is a classic anime series that threatens to overtake
Robotech in popularity, and it's definitely worth checking out. The
animation is a little dated, but solid storytelling never gets old."

GHOSTS OF RWANDA (reviewed by Joel Pearce, overall score 87/100):
"A good documentary allows us to see and hear the real people involved
in a situation, replacing some of the slanted emotional impact of
    fiction with accuracy and truth."

KOI KAZE: BUDDING ATTRACTION (reviewed by Joel Pearce, overall
    score 84/100):
"So many anime series submerge taboo subjects by creating jokes out of
them, but Koi Kaze digs right into the controversial issues. The intense
curiosity I had during the first volume whether they would make the
right decision has now turned to dread as I see the approach of the
    inevitable."

PIANO: MOVEMENT 1: SECRET LOVE (reviewed by Joel Pearce, overall
    score 78/100):
"And yet, every time conflict is about to rear its ugly head, Piano
never fails to slip a soft cushion in."

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/pianovol1.php

PLANETES (VOLUME 1) (reviewed by Joel Pearce, overall score 94/100):
"Planetes is a refreshing series that uses plausible scientific theory
and realistic characters to create excitement, rather than the usual
    cheap thrills."

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/planetesvol1.php

SHINGU: SECRET OF THE STELLAR WARS (VOLUME 1) (reviewed by Mac McEntire,
    overall score 75/100):
"This opening volume of Shingu is an intriguing but unfulfilling first
chapter to a larger story. As a stand-alone work, it is a
    disappointment."
