GRADE SCIENCE, SPIKE AND MIKE'S SICK AND TWISTED FESTIVAL OF ANIMATION:

WINDHORSE, and A YAKUZA IN LOVE:

ALL GROWN UP: R.V. HAVING FUN YET? (reviewed by David Johnson, overall
    score 85/100):
"Sure there's a sense that the creators tried a little too hard to
make their shows edgy and their characters hip (pseudo-messed-up
coiffures, hair streaks, baggy pants), but the storytelling remains
    fast and amusing."

BLOODSUCKERS (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 79/100):
"Hey, it's a vampire movie from the '70s! How original, right? But
before you get all snarky on me, know that Bloodsuckers represents a
different approach to the idea of vampirism."

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/bloodsuckers1970.php

FANGORIA BLOOD DRIVE 2 (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score
    90/100):
"All in all, this is a better selection of shorts than the disc before
it. There is more variety, the filmmaking is innovative and -- gasp! --
not a zombie movie in sight!"

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/fangoriablooddrive2.php

KENNEDY (reviewed by Chris Claro, overall score 82/100):
"The dynasty, headed by bootlegger and kingmaker Joseph Kennedy, has
long provided the stuff of drama, rife with war heroes, political
intrigue, and movie-star good looks. But Kennedy, like other stories of
the family, needs to be viewed in a particular context."

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/kennedy.php

KONG: KING OF ATLANTIS (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score
    50/100):
"Kong: King of Atlantis is awesomely stupid, and one of the most
ridiculous pieces of animation I've seen in a long, long time. And that
includes those Nasonex commercials with the sneezing bumblebee."

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/kongkingatlantis.php

KUNG FU DOUBLE FEATURE: SHAOLIN DOLEMITE / BLACK SAMURAI (reviewed by
    Bill Gibron, overall score 25/100):
"When a show like Hong Kong Phooey offers a livelier take on the entire
martial arts genre, you know it's time to jump the judo ship. There is
nothing here worth wasting your time on."

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/shaolindolemite.php

LAST EXIT (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 68/100):
"So, what do you know about Copenhagen? After this dark and
hallucinatory film, I know that I may not want to visit there."

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/lastexit.php

AN OBSESSION (reviewed by Joel Pearce, overall score 70/100):
"I can't quite figure out how director Shinji Aoyama managed to make a
cop movie about a series of murders with a stolen gun so dull."

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/anobsession.php

POSTCARDS FROM BUSTER: BUSTER'S GOT THE BEAT (reviewed by David Johnson,
    overall score 80/100):
"This is the third Postcards from Buster disc I've reviewed and,
frankly, I'm running out of ways to say 'This rabbit is a little nerd
and his adventures bore me to tears, but kids will likely enjoy seeing
different parts of the country and the children who live there.'"

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/pfbbustersgotbeat.php

POSTCARDS FROM BUSTER: BUSTER'S OUTDOOR JOURNEYS (reviewed by David
    Johnson, overall score 78/100):
"It's a PBS road trip for the kids, narrated by a soft-spoken nerd of an
anthropomorphic rabbit. Seriously, Buster sounds like he could use a
    good beating."

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/postcardsfrombuster.php

ROCK ON: EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS: 5TH GRADE SCIENCE (reviewed by David
    Johnson, overall score 85/100):
"Each video had a different kind of music to go along with the different
science subjects. Like, 'Solar Trip' was a rap song. It wasn't as
awesome as Eminem, but I learned about the planets!"

SPIKE AND MIKE'S SICK AND TWISTED FESTIVAL OF ANIMATION: CONTAGIOUS
(reviewed by Adam Arseneau, overall score 60/100):
"Yes, back in the day, Spike & Mike's animation festivals were the
public's first taste of such material as Beavis and Butthead, South
Park, and even the Powerpuff Girls, believe it or not. But this was when
animation was strictly reserved for wholesome family values. These days,
some of the filthiest humor available on television comes in the form of
    hand-drawn shaded cells."

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/spikemikecontagious.php

STEVE + SKY (reviewed by Mitchell Hattaway, overall score 30/100):
"Is the film a warning that hiring damned ugly women to work in your
nudie bar will result in such a staggering loss of income that repo men
will show up and haul away your possessions?"

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/stevesky.php

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE BERRY SWEET COLLECTION (reviewed by David Johnson,
    overall score 85/100):
"And when the talking horse shall meet the auburn one, there will be
much fear and trembling, and weeping and gnashing of teeth, and the
Destroyer, the one who will bring vengeance and death from above and the
blood of the infidels will run hip-deep in the streets, will celebrate
her first day of birth with cookies."

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/strawberryshortcakecol.php

WINDHORSE (reviewed by Joel Pearce, overall score 85/100):
"Because it tells the truth about the treatment of the Tibetan people
at the hands of the Chinese, the film had to be shot in secret.
Director Paul Wagner and his crew shot exteriors in Lhasa as tourists,
secretly getting the footage they needed. The rest of the film was shot
in Nepal, where the government is frightened to let anti-Chinese
sentiments get out. They are, after all, the very small neighbors of a
    grumpy super-power."

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/windhorse.php

A YAKUZA IN LOVE (reviewed by Geoffrey Miller, overall score 79/100):
"Like a child with ADD, it jumps from a bizarro world rom-com, to a
darkly comic send-up of the yakuza, to a harrowing drug addiction drama
(and a few other genres along the way for good measure)."
