Today, DVD Verdict posted reviews of BIG TIME, CONQUEST, ENTRAILS OF A
BEAUTIFUL WOMAN, FRIDAY THE 13TH: REGION 2 EDITION, KING OF THE ANTS,
    and X-MEN EVOLUTION: ENEMIES UNVEILED:

BIG TIME (reviewed by Bill Gibron, overall score 58/100):
"These are your typical nouveau riche douche bags bellyaching about how
their ritzy lives as actresses, models, investment bankers, and hotshot
video directors just don't fulfill their inner child. After wasting 80
minutes listening to them whine about their lack of emotional
connections and the depths of their personal angst, you want to yank
that needy core kid from out of their spoiled psyches and beat the
    silver spoon out of it."

CONQUEST (reviewed by Rob Lineberger, overall score 44/100):
"'Hmm...out of arrows, pissed-off horde...let's be brave and stand our
ground! Surely a timely tornado will happen along to wipe out yonder
horde, or mine enemies will be blinded by an inexplicable plague, or the
sun will take pity on me and shoot out little laser beams!'"

ENTRAILS OF A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN (reviewed by Bill Gibron, overall
    score 78/100):
"America supposedly cornered the market on the Puritanical notion of
making sex and sexuality as dirty as possible. But thanks to some of the
insights offered by Entrails of a Beautiful Woman, there are other
societies equally adept at pandering to the prurient while also
extolling -- and evading -- its sinful stature."

FRIDAY THE 13TH: REGION 2 EDITION (reviewed by Dennis Prince, overall
    score 85/100):
"Warner Brothers has also managed a European release of the Region 2
DVD, made available on September 29, 2003; this is the DVD for your
collection, blood brethren. The disc contains the international/uncut
version of the film, featuring the additional frames in each of the
death sequences (Jack's death being most notable as it includes a
previously cut extended overhead view of his demise)."

KING OF THE ANTS (reviewed by Mike Pinsky, overall score 75/100):
"The real surprise in all of this is George Wendt. Those who only know
him from Cheers (and might be unaware of his comic training at Second
City) will discover a side of Wendt they never knew."

X-MEN EVOLUTION: ENEMIES UNVEILED (reviewed by David Johnson, overall
    score 71/100):
"Lacking is any of the mutants/humanity dynamics that drove the movies
to such success. It's just typical, shallow cartoon plots, simply set
against the backdrop of the X-Men universe."
