Today, DVD Verdict posted reviews of ARE WE THERE YET?, HAL ROACH: THE
KING OF IRISH COMEDY, HOUSE OF CARDS, PANIC BEATS, SASQUATCH HUNTERS,
STEAL, STEEL FISTED DRAGON, and VAMPIRES: THE TURNING:

ARE WE THERE YET? (reviewed by Mitchell Hattaway, overall score 60/100):
"Do we really need this? Who wants to see Ice Cube in a family comedy?
Sure, he has kids of his own, and maybe he thought it would be nice to
make a movie for them, but given the result here, that's not much of a
reason. At least Snoop is smart enough to stick to voiceover work."

HAL ROACH: THE KING OF IRISH COMEDY (reviewed by Bill Gibron, overall
    score 45/100):
"Like a rejected extra from Darby O'Gill and the Little People, Roach
saunters across the quaint Jury cabaret stage more tickled by his own
supposed wit than the laugh-track enhanced crowd crowing along with him.
And as he plays to the room, delivering his predictable punch lines, you
just can't help but wonder who finds this fool funny -- and better yet,
why science has yet to find a cure for what ails them."

HOUSE OF CARDS (reviewed by Steve Evans, overall score 43/100):
"Close scrutiny of this picture is on par with a hurricane descending on
a House of Cards -- the results are chaos and absolute destruction; the
    structure falls apart."

PANIC BEATS (reviewed by Bill Gibron, overall score 62/100):
"This is a movie cobbled together out of tired old terror cliches and
then filtered through a foreign fright filmmaking ideal that's heavy on
atmosphere and light on logic. You can almost set your watch by the
    differing macabre movements present."

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/panicbeats.php

SASQUATCH HUNTERS (reviewed by Mitchell Hattaway, overall score 40/100):
"The actors simply cannot act. The special effects and makeup are
horrible. For what it's worth -- and it ain't worth much -- Sasquatch
Hunters looks like something a group of junior-high students hastily
threw together for their A/V class midterm."

STEAL (reviewed by Mac McEntire, overall score 60/100):
"Good afternoon, class. Welcome to...Class? Settle down. As I was
saying, good afternoon, and welcome to your first semester of 'How Not
to Make a Movie 101.' I take it you've all had the chance to review your
    first assignment, Steal?"

STEEL FISTED DRAGON (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 53/100):
"An impenetrable, incoherent mess and an assault on the senses in the
technical department, Steel Fisted Dragon is a flick only for those of
you who want something to lambaste on a Saturday night. Actually, in
that capacity, it's not too bad."

    FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/steelfisteddragon.php

VAMPIRES: THE TURNING (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 75/100):
"Vampires: The Turning is not bad and not that good. It's a superbly
mediocre vampire movie. For every cool thing it's got going for it,
there's something subpar that brings it back down. It's like a perpetual
    one-step-forward, one-step-back demon tango."
