Today, DVD Verdict posted reviews of THE ADVENTURES OF THE GALAXY
RANGERS: CHAINED, THE ADVENTURES OF THE GALAXY RANGERS: PHOENIX,
ALL GROWN UP: DUDE, WHERE'S MY HORSE?, DRAGNET '67: THE COMPLETE
FIRST SEASON, I MARRIED JOAN: CLASSIC TV COLLECTION NO. 2, A
KILLING IN A SMALL TOWN, THE OLD SETTLER, and 21 JUMP STREET: THE
    COMPLETE THIRD SEASON:

THE ADVENTURES OF THE GALAXY RANGERS: CHAINED (reviewed by Maurice
    Cobbs, overall score 84/100):
"Rangers was one of the few cartoons of the time that were not driven by
a toy line, which meant that the writers had greater freedom -- it's got
to be the only American animated show of the time that could have gotten
away with Goose snarling, 'If you so much as breathe the wrong way,
you're dead!' or 'I ought to blow you away right here!' -- but it also
meant that networks weren't as interested in the show, which brought
    about its untimely demise."

THE ADVENTURES OF THE GALAXY RANGERS: PHOENIX (reviewed by Maurice
    Cobbs, overall score 87/100):
"One of the benefits of the DVD medium is that it gives wonderful shows
like Galaxy Rangers a real chance to find an audience. Unfortunately,
Koch Vision has released these episodes out of their intended order,
destroying the crafted continuity and possibly confusing new viewers who
    are unfamiliar with the show."

ALL GROWN UP: DUDE, WHERE'S MY HORSE? (reviewed by David Johnson,
    overall score 85/100):
"Having spent some time with this Nick cartoon, I will say I was
surprised by how much I enjoyed it. While not as witty as The
Fairly Oddparents or as overexposed as Spongebob Squarepants, it's
a good cartoon, funny and clever, and making good use of some
    topical kids humor."

DRAGNET '67: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON (reviewed by Maurice Cobbs,
    overall score 88/100):
"Dragnet '67 was an island of common sense in a wild era; with a clear
conscience, a fierce sense of duty, and a rock-solid moral code, Joe
Friday was one of the last barriers against moral relativism."

I MARRIED JOAN: CLASSIC TV COLLECTION NO. 2 (reviewed by George Hatch,
    overall score 79/100):
"Joan Davis was forced to live in the shadow of Lucille Ball in the
early days of television's Golden Age. I think her sardonic humor and
homages to classic vaudeville and burlesque routines gave her an edge
    over Lucy."

A KILLING IN A SMALL TOWN (reviewed by Adam Arseneau, overall
    score 60/100):
"Entire sequences of the film are totally disposable, laugh-out-loud,
and over-the-top, complete and utter ham where characters serve ham to
one another and feast upon its delicious honey-glaze, enjoying its many
    hammy delights."

THE OLD SETTLER (reviewed by Ryan Keefer, overall score 72/100):
"As part of a branching out of public television to produce feature-
length films for television, The Old Settler features some recognizable
names in an interesting film focusing on family and love."

21 JUMP STREET: THE COMPLETE THIRD SEASON (reviewed by Patrick Bromley,
    overall score 74/100):
"After finding its footing in Season One and cementing its characters
in Season Two, 21 Jump Street: The Complete Third Season is the year
when the show really hit its stride -- it's the best in the series' five-
    year run."
