Dual-boot Windows 3.1/XP

Discussion in 'Computer Information' started by =?iso-8859-1?B?pqamU0hBRDBXpqam?=, Jul 16, 2006.

  1. I am building a new computer. Can I put both Windows 3.1 and XP on it? I don't really like XP that much but need it to play some games. Would much rather use 3.1 full-time. Thanks in advance for any help!

Yes you can provided you put 3.1 on first on the c: drive. XP can then
be put on a separate partition and will dual boot. 3.1 only uses FAT16
so keep the c: small, and also it won't see the FAT32 XP partition.
