Is there a program that checks your system and then checks the net for
    driver updates?

    Thanks

Yup agreed. If it aint broke dont try and fix it. And a dead/wiped BIOS
usually means ££££/$$$$ for a new mainboard.

That website is weird. Installed all the new updates as it said. Shutdown
rebooted, and then it gives the same info again. Is this because it stores
system settings and does this to get you to sign up?

Thanks, but that isn't a site for updating drivers, it's for security checks.

Theoretically, it's also suppose to check for "out-dated software"
    and internal configuration problems.
Although I don't really remember it doing anything much more than
    yelping about new Windows Updates.
