I recently upgraded my IBM T23 to Windows XP.

Someplace along the line, the DVD/CD reader stopped reading CDs (data
or audio) but still reads DVDs (data or movies). I have done a lot of
work on the computer, so I don't know exactly when the problem
    happened.

A colleague had the same problem. We swapped the DVD/CD drives and
both still have the same problem.

The drive is a Toshiba SD-C2512. Toshiba website says no drivers are
needed (or available). I can't find anything relevant on the IBM
website. Google search has not revealed a solution.

    Anybody have any ideas???
