I have recently purchased The creative speaker system Inspire digital
5700 and the Audigy 2 Platinum Pro Sound card.
I've tried litterally every instruction / setup / connection possible
and i just cant figure out why i cant get the inspire amp to have the
dolby digital or DTS led lights to light up so i can experience
watching a dvd through my pc with quality sound.
Tottaly baffled i have sent 2 E-mails to creative and recieved no
reply as yet..., hopefully they wil reply soon as i am getting
    desperate.
All i want to do is put a dvd in my dvd-rom and listen to it in dolby
    digital or DTS.
I have WinDvd v6.0 and i also have Powerdvd 5 , can someone please
help me and explain in very simple terms what i am doing wrong ? or
can someone please tell me another way i can setup my system so i can
    do this.

Dunno...but if you don't get the answers you need here, try these
    newsgroups:

    comp.sys.ibm.pc.soundcard.misc
    comp.sys.ibm.pc.soundcard.tech

    Good luck!
