    Hi

I've seen some posts about Dolby Digital 2.0 stereo but could anyone tell me more about Dolby Digital 2.0 mono? What does that mean sound-wise? Will it sound tinny and cheap? Is there a reason why some filmmakers still choose 2.0 mono over 5.1? It seems strange to me that someone would choose to use inferior sound technology...

    Thanks for your help.
