Disk Space Reporting

    My hard disk reports only a few MB of free space and yet I recently deleted
    a 12GB file from it and if I select all folders and files (yes including
    system and hidden) it says there are only 10GB of files on the 40GB
    partition. How can this be?

    Have you emptied youe recyle bin?
