Disk Quota

Discussion in 'MCSE' started by =?Utf-8?B?Q29saW4=?=, Feb 5, 2006.

  1. I came across a question in MSPress: Self Paced Training Kit - Managing &
Maintaining a W2K3 Environment, that states that disk quota events are logged
to the Application Log with DiskQuota as the source.

I confirmed that the DiskQuota source exists in the Application Log but when
I try exceed a quota the server logs the event to the Security Log with ntfs
as the source and nothing appears in the Application Log. Why is this?
