    Hi,

I have a Windows Xp Home.I tried setting up a Dial up networking connection
using the New Connection Wizard, but after a successful set up of the Dial
up networking connection, the shorcut icon on the desktop and in Network
connection has a red cross mark on it and is not accessible.

How could I fix it ?

    GT.

Most likely your modem is not installed or is listed as not present. If
the modem is listed on a specific com rebuild the dial up connection.
