    Hello,

I'm a newbie to Cisco and have acquired a 6509 with SUP2 and SFM module.
I have a linux server with two NICs that are connected to separate vlans.

What I like to do is have the linux server provide DHCP addresses for each VLAN through the NICs but for some reason my Windows clients cannot get the DHCP lease right away. It takes about a minute for lease to confirm. It seems that something is blocking the DHCP but then again why would it eventually get it is confusing me.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
