    Hi,
I'm configuring the dhcp server on a cisco router.
What is the correct client-identifer of this hardware address:
    Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-E0-18-83-F6-FF

    I tried this:
    client-identifier 0100.E018.83F6.FF
(It didnt work the expected network card did not receive the specified host
    ip.)

    thanks a lot
    tom

The Cisco text is confusing on client id.

I used a debug dhcp command to grab the client id whilst the host was
    looking
