Desktop Doesn't Refresh

Discussion in 'Microsoft Certification' started by =?Utf-8?B?VmljdG9yY2FtcA==?=, Jun 18, 2006.

  1. Changes I make to the desktop are not reflected until I re-login or restart.
If I delete an icon, it remains, though trying to delete it again gives an
error that it's not there. Files copied to the desktop do not show up either.
Checking the desktop folder shows they are there. How do I tell Windows to
refresh the desktop, or better yet, how do I fix it so it automatically
refreshes whenever changes are made to the desktop?

  2. Hi Victorcamp,

You can press F5 to refresh your desktop. As far as know, there is no
    settings about refreshing windows desktop.

    I hope it helps...
