I have had recently installed a new Optimax 745 system running XP Pro.
The IT specialist is away and I can't find out how to change the
aspect ratio of my E207WFP monitor ( all circular obects are
elliptical and pics are stretched). Anyone know how to fix it?

    Manual from Dell support?

You are okay with not mentioning the video card , resolution (set to
native or not 1680x1050) , frequency?

Dell community forums, question has been asked before, www.google.com
    for e207 adjust aspect ratio.

You may just need to adjust the video resolution of your video card.

Just for example...I recently purchased a 22" rectangular monitor

and had to use a sort of odd-ball resolution 1440 X 900 to get everything
    to display properly
