delete reoccuring favorite files

    i have some favorites of nasty stuff stuck on a computer
    i have never went to this kind of site but they are somehow there
    when i goto fav folder and delet they come back on reboot
    how do i rid of these files?

    most likely the option in >Internet options>advanced>allow personalized
    favourites menu (check it)

    All that will do is keep from hiding certain favourites that have not
    been used in some time, if it is currently checked. If it is checked, then
    older, unused favourites will not be immediately presented. It won't get
    rid of anything ... only hide them. And, if they are spyware related ... as
    they probably are ... they will not be hidden by this method.
