The 2960 is a layer 2 switch so the only IP it has is for its own
management.. You want the IP on the LAYER 3 interface for the default
Gatewway, which is probably ONE of the 2 x 3750's, depending on which
mode (Layer 2 or Layer 3) their interfaces are working in.

    Cheers.................pk.

    Hai Peter,
Thank u !can u explain me wen the interface between 3750(2nd) and
2960 act as switching and another 2 hosts are from diffrent
subnet.does the 2 hosts with diff subnet sud be enabled ip routing?and
how does the pc's connected in 2960 will speak to taht 2 hosts which
are in diff subnet?? iam not sure...but wat i think is .....if the
pc's need to speak to taht 2 hosts ...the interface between 2960 and
3750(2nd) sud be enabled for "ip routing"???Am i correct in my ideas???
if not please explain me in detail......

    lookin forward....
