Deep Discount DVD shipping issues?

    My last several orders to DDDvd have never arrived; competitors DVD's are
    arriving. I went with the free shipping, but several weeks later, still no
    DVDs. Since this has happened with several orders, I was wondering if anyone
    else was having a problem, or maybe it is the postal service on my end.
    Anyone?

    Over the last 2 months my DDD orders (3 separate ones) came in at about the
    usual pace, receiving them within a week of the shipping notice. Nothing
    unusual.

    I haven't noticed any problem with DDD.

    You should be receiving shipping notices. Are you? That should tell you
    something about whether it's DDD or the mail.

    No, that tells me that they intended to ship, it does not tell me that the
    package made it out of their facility. I actually talked to them, and they
    are having problems with packages disappearing from the post office in
    Illinois that they ship out of.

    Meanwhile, I ordered Hercules Season 1 ($13.52) and three other DVDs
    from Overstock.com on Friday evening for $1.00 shipping (total) and
    they shipped yesterday.

    I just cannot understand people's continued loyalty to DDDVD. Two or
    three years ago it my have made sense, when they were usually the
    cheapest game in town and the shipping problems were not so well
    known.

    I've ordered DVD's from them in the last month and received them a lot
    faster than I have in the past.
