[Crosspost] Problem with Macromedia

Discussion in 'Computer Support' started by gorjan.online, Sep 26, 2003.

  1. Platform is 166MMX with Win98, DirectX7...well everything is on what really
    should be.
    Actually fresh instalation of Win98.

I wanted to try Macromedia Dreamweaver and Fireworks. Installation done without
any problems. But whenever I try to run a program, nothing happens. Not even
trial window that appears before main application.

We tried that instalation package on two different machines and everythink went
    ok.

    Any ideas?
I have VB 4,5,6 and MFC.

Dreamweaver requires a 600Mhz PIII or equivelent, as does
    Fireworks:

Forgot to add, both softwares require activation, too.

    ^^^^^^^
Windows 98 SE, Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows ServerTM 2003
    ^^^^^
128 MB RAM (256 MB recommended)
    275 MB available disk space

Do you have W98 or are you using W98SE?

Try uninstalling, clean up your registry and try again.
