If that is the Audigy 2 NX, the drivers are there. But don't know if
autoupdate works with it as I don't own one. I have the Audigy 2 ZS
    Platinum.

  6. Yes, it's the NX. I've got one I'd like to try out on x64, so I'll give it a
try. If I can move it, it's a lot better than the built in stuff on these
    Asus mobos.

  7. Interesting -- I hadn't even tried the Audigy 2 NX since Creative wasn't
listing it as supported yet. But lo and behold, when I plugged it in -- it
JFW. Recognized it automatically and installed the drivers for it. I then
went ahead and installed the new drivers from Creative, but they weren't
required to get it to work.

Hi Charlie. I think the reason why it works now, is because the drivers are
    on Windows Update.)

  9. No, because the NX had never been plugged in to the Ferrari, so the drivers
would never have been downloaded to it. Windows update will not even offer
you drivers for devices you don't have, and never automatically downloads
drivers to you - it will always ask about drivers.
