    Hello,

When I started up my computer I received a message at log on that the
security log was full and that only the admin could log on. I did and
found that all of the fonts on my desktop, toolbars, etc. are
illegible (like a wingding font or something similar)! I haven't a
clue how to fix it, as I cannot even figure out what file is what
(except by the icon). Any suggestions?

I am running windows xp pro.

    Thank you,
    Mary Helen

If you are the administrator, right-click "My Computer", "Manage", expand
"Event Viewer", right-click "Security", and select "Clear all Events"
After that, right-click it again, select "Properties", set the maximum log
size to 512kb, and check "Overwrite Events older than 7 days"
Click "Apply", and "OK" your way out.

Good advice, but didn't she mention the buttons being labelled in a
different text, other than something she can decipher?
