converting .shtml to .php

  1. Hello

    I have a site in .shtml and want to convert it to .php

    Is there any software that will go through my local folder and convert
    all the .shtml extensions to .php ?

    windows:
    "ren *.shtml *.php"
    on unix use "mv"
