  1. Hi
I'm new here and not sure if this is right but here goes.
Why would my computer keep loosing all its settings?
I need to reinstall windows to get everything working again
    surely this is not right.
    Any help would be appreciated

If this happens during power off, it could be that the battery is dead.
Otherwise you could have a virus of some sort.

    1. Does it ever happen when power remains on?
    2. Have you run a virus scan with recently updated definitions (no more
than a couple of days old).
