I had installed a second harddrive into my computer and everything worked
    out great.
A couple of days later I noticed that the light on the cooling fan nearest
to the harddrive wasn't on. I removed the side panel (while the computer was
still running) and I noticed that the red and black wire had become
unattached from the fan. I get ahold on the two wires and they touched and I
heard a click and my computer shut down. Now it will not turn on at all.
Would this two little wires fry my motherboard. Can someone please help me.

    Thanks in advance,

Check that you have 12v on the fan supply. Also check the molex connector on
your hard drive for voltage. If the 12v is missing then your psu has
    suffered.

I've done that before it generally fries the power supply.
