    Hello everyone,

I just wanted to share my experience with everyone about a program
called CompuSec made by ce-infosys. The program is an encryption
software that encrypts the whole hard drive if one wishes with the
AES 128 algorithm. The software also features pre-boot PKI
authentication. My laptop runs on Win XP but they also have a version
for people running under Linux. The best thing about it is the price
tag... its free!!! I've been using this program for over a week now
and I am very impressed!!! I tried reading the encrypted partition
while booting off a boot cd and nothing showed up. I would be nice to
hear about other users of that program and their experience up to
now. Make sure to make backups of your files or even better, to make
an image of your hard drive before using such software!!!

    Regards,

    Mo

I experimented with it for several days a year or so ago - it worked
flawlessly. However, I went back to using Safeboot Solo (but not due to
any weakness of Compusec - I'm just used to SS).
