I have a Cisco 2922xl that I need to put a vlan on and i need a little help. I have a cisco 3550 layer 3 switch in another building that is connected by fiber to this switch. The 3550 has a no switchport configured for this switch and I am routing to here thru that port. The VLAN for the 3550 in on 10.1.2.0 and the no switchport route is on 10.1.6.0. My question is how do I create a differnet VLAN and route it to the 2922xl over this route? Do I need to add a router to this point or change this to a 3550 switch? Here is a diagram.
