    Hi,

I have the standard o2 broadband package, capable of a max speed of 8meg down and 1.3 upstream. I would like to replace the provided router with a cisco 837. Looking around, all the configs seems to be for cisco 877 which is an ADSL2+ router.

Seeing as I only subscribe to 8 meg service can I use this router with o2 LLU through a BT line? I connected this up today and was synching to 4meg downstream and around 1meg up stream, no ip connectivity as yet. I have tried copying some of the commands listed for the 877 however they are not supported on my router.

    thanks in advance
