Cisco 7970G Issues / HELP!!

    Hi there.

I've got a Cisco 7970G IP Phone that has been flashed with the SIP
    firmware.

I am so close to getting it working however it's still causing me huge
    problems.

At the moment I am not going to set it up to Asterisk - The server I'm
planning on using needs a few parts/general troubleshooting (I think an
    IDE cable is fucked up).

Anyway I've managed to setup TFTP etc so the files are sending to the
phone. I know this because I've set up custom ring tones/backgrounds
etc basically everything works but the important thing.... Being able
    to make/receive calls.

Ive setup a DMZ to be forwarded to the IP of the phone so the firewall
isnt an issue but the phone refuses to register to sipgate/voiptalk
etc. The code I have is as follows:

    <device xsi:type="axl:XIPPhone" ctiid="203849429"

I altered a few ports from the standard config to try getting it to
work - I got the info from a help page on Sipgate for the 7960 which is
the closest I'll get I suppose - that config file isnt in XML format
    but the names are similar.

Sorry for the long post, I appreciate any help ;-)
