    We are running a 2003 domain.
    Clients are all win2k and above.

    We also have a Linux server running samba 3.0.22 (fully patched)

    We just added some XP x64 clients onto the network.
    All Windows machines can connect to the Samba server without trouble except
    the x64 clients.

    If SMB signing is turned off on the x64 clients, they can connect without
    trouble.
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanworkstation\para
    meters]
    "enablesecuritysignature"=dword:00000000

    Obviously we don't want to turn SMB signing off.

    Is there some change in the way SMB signing is implemented in x64?
