I had thought that after passing the two tests for MCDST, 70-271 and 70-272,
they would count for two of the requirements for an MCSA. But, unless I'm
misunderstanding the website, I can only use one of them as an elective
credit toward an MCSA. Can anybody tell me a typical testing path toward an
MCSA after you've gotten an MCDST? Thanks.

    Hello Cgard,
I think you right. because MCDST is a first level of certification MCP. The
upgrade path of MCSA you have to pass 3 core exam and 1 elective exam. MCDST
they count as elective exam and still you need to get 3 core exams. I beleive
    this is right.. :)
