I've got this for a pc and need some help please.
When I hook up my Kenwood TrueX cdrom drive as master or slave on the same
cable the Sony DVDRW drive is hooked up to, sometimes the kenwood cdrom has
no power when i turn on the pc or reboot. The sony drive is always fine.
Sometimes also it seems it won't boot from the kenwood when bios is fine and
the kenwood does power on. However the kenwood by itself is fine. the sony
drive is fine too by itself. so does this mean the problems are caused by
the dvdrw and cdrom on same cable? they are not the same setting, but master
    and slave.
if this is the case it's a problem because i can't hook up a cd drive with a
hard drive cus of where the hard drive is. Antec really messed up when they
    made the sonta case.

I am not familiar in detail with your drive, but did you check that the
jumper is in the correct position?

In the properties of the drive, is the disconnect and the DMA checked?
    (If applicable for your drive).

Your problem is that device manager/controllers shows 2 of everything.
That is not correct. You should boot to safe mode and remove both of
each type then reboot and windoze should load back one of each.

The info that belarc shows is correct. not device manager as that is what i
said i was using, belarc. it also doesn't matter what belarc shows, because
it's normally correct plus my device manager doesn't show those same stuff
    belarc does, it's more minimized/better i spose.
