Is there a way to make Thunderbird message filter
case insensitive? It is pretty cumbersome to type
in all various forms of the same word depending on
the cases of its letters! Please help. Thanks.

Um, use the JMC (Junk Mail Controls) and you wont have to, it will learn
to recognize most spam or junk and filter it for you.
