Can't Log On

Discussion in 'Computer Support' started by Kinko The Klown, Aug 21, 2005.

  1. I was using my other pc last night turned it off....no problems. Now this
morning I go to turn it on & tells me this version of windows must be
registered before I can log on. Hecks bells I've been using this pc for 2
years now, kinda figured that was all taken care of. I was finally able to
start up in safe mode and I am now running a virus scan & ad-aware to see if
there are any problems in those areas. Any ideas? I'm running Windows XP.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Hey, you were the one who decided on using a Rental OS. Those MS
    leases don't last forever. ;)

(Hope you get some joy from the MS users; sorry I can't help with this
    one.)
