Can't Detect USB Memory Card

Discussion in 'Microsoft Certification' started by =?Utf-8?B?R0hS?=, Apr 28, 2005.

  1. I have a computer with Windows 2000. When I connected my Apacer Usb memory
stick, everything worked fine. It detected the memory stick and added another
drive letter in Windows Explorer. I was able to access it just like any other
drive. When doing this there is an icon that appears in the system tray that
shows there is a USB device connected to the computer. To remove the USB
device you have to double click on the icon and shut down the device you want
to disconnect. There is an option that is checked off that says if you want
the icon to appear in the system tray. I unchecked the option and now my
computer doesn't want to detect my USB memory card anymore. I can't seem to
find where I can check off the option again. Any help would be appreciated.
