Hi, folks - I am curious, can anyone tell me if there is a good reason
to spend twice as much on the Canoscan 9950 when compared to the 8600?
Except for being able to scan more negatives or slides simultaneously,
the more expensive 9950 seems to be almost the same machine as the
8600. Also, is the 8600 a newer model?

    Thanks in advance ~
