Canon D60: PA-1 message

Discussion in 'Digital Photography' started by Edward Shephard, Jul 3, 2004.

  1. When I switch on my Canon D60 the top LCD shows the ISO setting, and then
before switching to the normal display it says 'PA-1'. Does anyone know
    what this means please?

    Thanks

It means the camera is set to use parameter set 1 (for
sharpness/contrast/color tone). When set to standard ("PA-0") nothing is
    displayed at startup.
