Can RCA Composite Cables be used for Component Video?

    Can I use the RCA composite cables for the component connections? how
    will it affect the image coming from my DVD? Thank you.

    Yes, if you use 3 of them.

    If you only use one, you won't get any picture at all, or you will just
    get black and white. :)

    But, if they are quality cables of the same length, you should be fine.
