can i use vpn on a xp pro client(only client) broadband enabled machine

    that is making it into a vpn server with a single domain
    controller-- ms win server 2003 .xp pro machine in
    question is connctd to a ms win servr 2003 thru a belkin
    adsl modem with built in wireless ROUTER.

    For any incoming connection through a NAT router you'll need to forward the
    ports to the Private IP address of the server you're trying to connect to.
    For Terminal Services / RDP it's TCP port 3389. For MS VPN it's TCP port
    1723. You may also need to enable "VPN Pass-thru" or "GRE protocol 47".
