can I purchase microsoft office online?

    yes, but why not try "Open Office" first ? it's free and I think it's

    Don't bother. Try OpenOffice.org. I think you'll find it will do what
    you want including Power Point presentations. It's free, so if you don't
    like it you can alway drop the dollars for the MS Office.

    We've installed this to quite a few Machines pending the purchase of
    Microsoft office and the people using it now prefer it!......

    Thanks much for that link, Mike. I've been looking for an alternative
    to M$ Word, but I never heard of Open Office. So I went there and
    downloaded it and installed it and it looks beautiful.

    Excellent programme.. really is, and in some ways I reckon its better
    than Office!..

    In fact use Linux, Open office, Thunderbird and Firefox and you don't
    have to pay a penny for your software:)
