Building a New Computer2

    I am building this computer for a very poor friend that is a graphic
    designer. I want to build her a good quality simple inexpensive machine .
    Can someone evaluate the following selections I made and advise me.

    Kit 1 x OEM AMD Athlon XP 2400+(2.0GHz/266FSB/256K)

    You can buy one as cheap as you can build. If you have no confidence in
    yourself that is the thing to do do.Why should you have confidence in
    strangers - might be better to buy from a known company.

    For a cheap box that looks good to me with the exception of not enough
    ram to run XP, encrease that to 512 or 1 GB.
