    the 3rd degree burn to the ear, visible for all in uk.media.dvd to
    guffaw over.

    Oddly enough, the guy was right; You can use a lens from
    a CD player to focus a DVD laser. You just have to bring it
    in a little closer...

    Well I'm not sure but since this is useNet, that doesn't stop me from
    answering anyway :) CDs have one track that sprials so I'd assume that
    DVDs do as well.

    No rings. The data is in a spiral, inside out. It is, specifically, and
    Archimedes spiral.
