Dr Web is a new addon for Firefox that creates a "Scan with Dr Web" menu
item to the right click context menu in Firefox. You can scan any link,
whether for a file or a web page, and Dr Web will report in a few
seconds whether the file/webpage is virus free. I've tried it with php
and asp pages as well as standard html and it works on all.

For the truly paranoid, you can check every link before opening them,
but you would feel like you are back on dial-up, though it is ideal for
    checking links that look dodgy.

As with any virus checker, there is a certain amount of faith involved
by relying on Dr Web to be up to date with it's virus definitions.
